Specialized S-Works Shiv TT: for years, chrono bikes have been designed in a very similar way, flat and aerodynamic piping, heavy and difficult to ride frames, often rough braking. For flat, fast routes, as was once the custom, these features might perhaps be fine. With today's technically very challenging tracks, however, time trial bikes must be different. Shiv TT moves towards the limits of the UCI regulation by adding disc brakes, filing weight and refining the position. The new Shiv TT is the most customizable time trial bike on the market, allowing for extensive and simple position tuning without compromising aerodynamics—and it's ready for another decade of gold medals. The S-Works Shiv TT Module is the perfect starting point to build the TT bike of your dreams.
With time trial stages becoming increasingly technical and demanding, it was essential to draw from our years of R&D experience and professional feedback to create the fastest TT bike for every course—whether it's a technical city prologue or a long time trial with significant elevation gain. Making the fastest bike in a straight line isn't enough. With this in mind, we've reduced the weight and improved the handling of the Shiv TT, which now features a completely new silhouette.
Fit adjustability is another cornerstone of the new Shiv TT's design. Utilizing years of Retül fit data from professional athletes, we have redesigned the bike's geometry and front end: spacers, extensions, arm pads, positioning, and stability. The one-piece bar and stem assembly is simpler and lighter.
Disc brakes are now a necessity in time trials, given variable weather, tight corners, and imperfect road surfaces. They allow you to brake later into turns and add stability both in cornering and under acceleration. And don't worry—they don't add any extra aerodynamic drag.
