The Specialized Crux 5 is a pure gravel racing machine with a record-breaking total weight of just 7.7 kg. The frame is crafted from premium FACT 10r carbon weighing 897 grams, structurally optimized through the Flow State Design concept.

The aerodynamic tube design draws directly from the Tarmac SL8, making it the fastest and most wind-cheating gravel bike ever created by the brand. Rigorous Win Tunnel testing certifies an aerodynamic saving of an impressive 15.2 watts compared to the previous generation. This increase in efficiency allows for a reduction in total race time by up to 9 minutes and 58 seconds on the Unbound course.

Rider-First Engineered™ technology ensures that all sizes (from 49 to 61 cm) deliver the exact same flawless dynamic responses. The frame's calibrated vertical compliance reduces rider muscle fatigue, preserving momentum over long distances.

Tire clearance has been expanded to a massive 55 mm (2.2"), offering unprecedented traction and comfort on rough surfaces. As standard, the bike is equipped with Pathfinder 700x45 tires, set up Tubeless Ready to minimize rolling resistance.

The wireless electronic drivetrain is powered by the 13-speed SRAM FORCE AXS XPLR E1 groupset, specifically engineered for gravel racing. The SRAM FORCE XPLR E1 crankset features a single 40t chainring and natively integrates a precise Quarq power meter. The 13-speed rear cassette offers ideal spacing for cadence shifts, with a gear range spanning from 10 to 46 teeth.

The bottom bracket is a threaded 68mm SRAM DUB BSA Wide, chosen to maximize stiffness, reliability, and ease of maintenance. SRAM FORCE E1 hydraulic disc brakes deliver superior stopping power and excellent modulation in mud or rain conditions.
