New Specialissima RC Frame

The iteration of the New Bianchi Specialissima represents the pinnacle of road racing engineering, where the power-to-weight ratio meets maximum aerodynamic efficiency. Developed using feedback from World Tour athletes, the Specialissima platform has been redesigned to excel not only on climbs but in every possible racing scenario.

At the heart of the project lies the structural optimization of the ultra-high-modulus carbon fiber frame. Bianchi engineers redesigned the tube profiles by drawing inspiration from the aero-focused Oltre, integrating advanced aerodynamic solutions without adding a single gram of superfluous weight. The headtube zone, top tube, and rear seatstays have been thinned and sculpted to cut through the air, significantly reducing the overall drag of the complete rider-and-bike system.

Torsional stiffness has been increased at critical junctions, such as the bottom bracket shell and the tapered headtube, ensuring instantaneous power transfer and razor-sharp handling on the most technical descents. At the same time, the specific carbon lay-up is engineered to dampen high-frequency road vibrations, effectively reducing muscle fatigue during long hours in the saddle.

The racing geometry is aggressive yet balanced, tailored to promote an optimal aerodynamic posture while ensuring lightning-fast responsiveness during sudden accelerations. Cable routing is completely integrated within the frame and cockpit, a solution that not only cleans up the aesthetic lines but also maximizes wind penetration. The compact chainstays and integrated fork work in perfect synergy to deliver exceptional stability even at high speeds.

Finally, tire clearance has been updated to accommodate modern, wider tire sections, allowing riders to optimize grip and rolling resistance according to the specific course.
