X-CarboRing Sram X-AXS

The Carbon-Ti X-CarboRing X-AXS 50/37 chainring pair is developed for SRAM eTap AXS 12-speed road drivetrains. It combines the X-CarboRing 50 x 107 X-AXS outer chainring with 50 teeth and the X-CarboRing 37 x 107 X-AXS inner chainring with 37 teeth. Carbon-Ti specifies these two sizes as a matched combination to support accurate front shifting. Using chainrings of other sizes or from different manufacturers is not recommended because it can affect shifting performance.

The design brings together a structural carbon-fibre body with a glossy 3K finish, AL7075-T6 aluminium-alloy teeth and Grade 5 titanium elements to help lift the chain. Each tooth is individually CNC-machined with a dedicated profile. The outer ring features shaped ramps and titanium shifting elements engineered to guide the chain from the smaller ring to the larger ring, promoting quick and precise gear changes.

Both chainrings feature a 107 mm bolt circle diameter (BCD) and a four-arm mounting pattern. They fit compatible SRAM Force and Rival AXS cranksets and power meters with this mounting interface. The tooth design is intended for SRAM RED, Force and Rival eTap AXS 12-speed groupsets. Before purchasing, check the actual spider and mounting pattern: a SRAM AXS drivetrain does not automatically mean the crankset uses a 107 mm four-bolt interface.

The 50T outer ring has a claimed weight of 101 g and the 37T inner ring weighs 41 g, for a combined claimed weight of 142 g. Carbon-Ti recommends its X-Fix BCD107 2X fixing-bolt kit for installation on compatible SRAM spiders. The official manual explains how to align the chainring reference marks with the crank arm, use medium-strength threadlocker and tighten the bolts to 4-6 Nm. It also recommends fitting a new chain for optimal performance and checking bolt tightness periodically. Designed and manufactured entirely in Italy, the X-CarboRing X-AXS 50/37 pair offers lightweight materials and a dedicated tooth profile for SRAM AXS shifting.
