The ENVE SES Disc PRO is a carbon rear disc wheel engineered for time trials and triathlon. Its updated aerodynamic shape is optimized for 28 mm tires, with a 22 mm internal rim width and a tubeless-ready construction that requires no rim tape. The INNERDRIVE PRO rear hub features a 40-tooth ratchet and ENVE PRO ceramic bearings to reduce drag. Claimed weight is 1,030 g including the valve, with a Centerlock rotor mount and 12x142 mm thru-axle spacing. Available with Silver or White decals and HG or XDR freehub options.
The ENVE SES Disc PRO is a carbon rear disc wheel developed for the demands of time trials and triathlon. Building on the previous SES Disc, its revised design targets aerodynamic efficiency, low weight and stable handling at racing speeds. The wider shape has been refined around the yaw angles encountered in races against the clock, with a profile optimized for modern performance tires. Developed with professional athletes, the wheel earned WorldTour and Ironman victories during ENVE's testing program. It is designed specifically for high-speed racing rather than general-purpose riding.
Compared with the earlier generation, ENVE claims a 200 g weight reduction and an aerodynamic improvement of approximately 0.69 watts. The wheel weighs 1,030 g including its valve, making low weight a key feature of this dedicated rear disc. Its internal rim width is 22 mm and aerodynamic optimization centers on 28 mm tires. ENVE recommends 27-28 mm tires, with a minimum width of 25 mm. Maximum permitted pressure is 100 PSI (6.8 bar), or the tire manufacturer's lower limit when applicable.
The rim is tubeless ready without the need for tubeless rim tape, and only compatible tubeless tires should be used. Its construction incorporates internally bonded spokes, suited to the distinctive structure of the full disc wheel. The rear hub uses INNERDRIVE PRO internals with a 40-tooth ratchet and a light-action spring designed to minimize mechanical drag. ENVE PRO ceramic bearings combine hardened stainless-steel races with carefully selected seals, supporting smooth rotation and protection from contamination.
The wheel has a Centerlock disc rotor mount and 12x142 mm thru-axle spacing. Rear freehub options include HG and XDR, while the decals are offered in Silver or White. Manufactured in Ogden, Utah, the SES Disc PRO is a specialized choice for riders seeking a dedicated aerodynamic rear wheel for individual efforts against the clock and fast triathlon racing.
